    Hi LG F1402fds6 stopped mid program,still full of water.On taking of the lid there was a burning smell from the mains module at the rear rh corner.Power going to module but nothing coming out.Is it normal for this to fail on its own behalf or has something else caused it?

    The module your talking about, is it at the top right hand side?
    If so its the mains filter and yes they do fail.
