Sometimes this machine will complete cycle ok,others it will stop mid cycle with start light flashing 4 times/stop repetedly.. Checked machine over & everything appears to be alright?

the diafragm on the switch in the sump is probably gunked up. its located on right side below filter cover. it is a mesh circular in shape. if you are lucky you could remove all water and then fill sump with boiling water from a kettle. give the gunge a chance to soften and the GENTLY agitate the mesh with a washingup brush.
it may just work. if not its best to replace the switch.
