    Got a Beko Fridge freezer and i replaced the Thermostat
    but it still gets to its cold setting then it just defrosts and the fridge goes warm inside Freezer is fine

    any suggestions?

    why did you replace the stat?

    hi its CDA539FW i replaced the stat cause i couldnt get an answer to my other posts so thought i would go with a process of elimination 😉

    so you replaced the little potentiometer inside the fridge?
    a little variable resistor pcb?
    if you’re confident that the system is ok, then i’d also replace the pcb at the back of the unit at the top.

    Yes mate fits inside the Light Housing
    were would i find the PCB?

    At the back of the fridge at the top. I’m not saying that’s definitely the fault, but if the system is good and it’s not regulating properly and you’ve changed the stat, then it’s a good bet.

    Cool i know a fair bit about PCBs il take it off and get my Multi meter out first 😉

    i take it if thats fine i best chuck the fridge?

    Not really!
    It’s a matter of diagnosing if the problem lies with the system, or the regulation of it. If, when the appliance does work, it works ok, then your system is probably fine and its the regulation (in this case pcb’s) that is to blame.
