I’m new to this but will try to give enough info to see if someone can help me please.I’ve got a Servis Easilogic 1300rpm washer/dryer. Like most people I found out pretty quickly that the dry facility was rubbish so it has been used almost exclusively as a washing machine only.
A few months ago, the clasp that opens the door broke off. It was connected by some plastic which had just got too brittle and snapped off. Since then I’ve been using a chisel to lift the back of the mechanism to open the door. Other than that, it’s been working fine.
Today, I turned it on, it went ‘click’ as usual when I shut the door then after I pressed start nothing happened. I’ve tried resetting the dial etc and opening/closing the door etc etc and nothing.
Does anyone have any idea what the fault might be and how easy it’d be for my husband to fix/whether it’s economical to fix? I’m lost without it!
