Electrolux EWF 1074

Hi,

From what I can tell my washer will drain but not know when it’s empty. This prevents it moving on in the cycle and when a new cycle is started it spends a long time trying to drain itself unnecessarily.

If i fill the drum with water it pumps it out but the pump continues to go.

On that basis I think the pump is fine but don’t know what would cause this problem.

Any help would be great.
