    Hi We have an LG LD 12BW5 dishwasher that has a failed inlet valve. Solenoid works, and has been tested by an engineer (he recommended I come here) who can’t locate the part needed – it comes up as obsolete with no alternative. What I’m asking is does anyone know where we might find:
    a. the correct part number
    b. a replacement valve

    Part number 5221ED1001A but cannot locate one.

    Ebay in the USA have them listed to buy from $14.95 for a used one and new $21.95 upwards.

    Hi I’ve found plenty of that part number in the USA but the body of the valve looks quite different and there is a second pipe that appears to have some control function.
    The picture of the part number quoted looks quite different
