Hi Guys: Looking for some pointers on how to replace the Fridge Sensor on this fridge freezer.
I don’t normally touch refrigeration but this is for an old lady who’s a neighbour so I got lumbered by my missus.

I think the sensor may be foamed in on this Model.
If you turn the control Knob to off and the fridge continues to run it will be a module fault.
If it turns off then it is the sensor faulty.

The module may be obsolete now but you can get an alternative but you have to break off a part of he PCB depending what version it is.

The module normally comes with instructions.

If the module has a foamed in sensor then I would say it is ber.

    Hope this helps

Hi Bob: Thanks again for the reply, if you turn the control off then the fridge stops so a sensor fault as you said. The modules are apparently still available from HSCL, will go see the old lady & see what she wants to do.
