The two I like are a John Lewis own brand, which someone said would be based on an AEG model, and a Neff.

The Kupperbusch (badged Philips)was completely integrated and had normal hinges, but the considered Neff has flat ones. I am concerned that the difference could cause problems with the fitting of the “furniture doors” and may be more.

    Need I be worried?

I also noticed that the old freezer is ~5 cm higher than the newer ones but with like capacity. Is that of significance?

Please let me have your advice? Thank you.

If you’re replacing an integrated fridge freezer, then obviously it’s very important to replace with a model as similar to the one you already have as possible, unless you want to involve kitchen fitters etc.
all the makes you mention are good, it’s just the fitting I’d be concerned about.
