I bought this dishwasher second hand and have done several successful wash cycles. However it has now stopped working.

Upon turning it on lights 1 & 3 are on, which I believe are the reset buttons or show the end of the quick wash cycle. I have tried holding buttons 1 & 3 down and then turning it on and releasing the buttons to run the test cycle but nothing happens and the lights remain on. I have also checked the matrix, water inlet & drain pipes and there are no blockages.

If anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem could be and how to fix it it would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Buttons 1+3 are the reset buttons, with the machine switched on you should hold them in until the programme cancels, the pump switches on and then the machine should stop after about one minute, they do not run the test cycle in the way you suggest.
To run the full test cycle.

    1. Press buttons 1 and 3 simultaneously.
    2. Switch the Dishwasher On, then release 1 and 3.
    3. Lights L2 and L4 will flash to indicate the Service Programme is active.
Pressing any of the remaining console buttons will light the appropriate LED.
Pressing 2 will light the Rinse Aid and Salt low level indicators and the End light.
    4. Press 1 and 3 again to start the service/test programme.

There are nine steps to the test programm, if any errors are encountered then one of the lights 2,3 or 4 will stay on, not flash.

If you cannot clear the lights at all or run the test programme then it suggests the pcb has failed. This part has been obsolete for many years now. 🙁
