    😕 Hi everyone. I have a Amica AWCT10L washing machine. It is approx 3 years old. Power on and red power light indicator on & ok till you close the door & then press the start button. It then trips the main breaker in the fuse box. Once you open the door again, reset the trip switch in the fuse box. Re-plug the washing machine back in. All the 3 yellow lights light up with the red power light stay on. Anyone any ideas as to what it could be please. Thanks for reading and your time.

    most tripping washing machines end up being the motor the heater unless its leaking

    Test meter time i’m afraid, could be a fault anywhere in it, as stated heater & motor could be problem, but if theres a short to earth somewhere you can find it by testing the components individualy, maybe its as simple as a faulty plug.
