    Hi all
This is an embarising thing to ask but here I go
How much grease should you put in the suspension strut, the sheet says fill the hole 😕 does this mean the top bit or should I have realy spent 3/4 of an hour filling them with half a tin of grease 😕
When I just filled the top bit and shoved in the rod it did sound a wee bit dry and scrapey 😯

Personally I buy large plastic tubes of LM, with a 1/4″ nozzle – shove it down the damper, squeeze ’til it overflows – job done. Bounce it a few times when assembled and it’s fine.

    Cheers,
    Chris.

    Thanks p45
See a lot of these wm’s with heavy leaning to the left.
Do you fit the new leg kit or just the foamy things at the bottm of the legs that seem to get crushed ❓

Fit the lot. Guide wear in shock can cuse the tub to twist as well. It all adds up.

    Cheers simon
Took me a long time to do, but at least this way it will last longer.

As they say, whilst you are down there! I use one of the pivoting extension socket bars from halfords that allows you to tighten at an angle(like a universal joint but solid). Makes the job easier for me on the top suspension nut.

Pull the tub out – much simpler.
