    I am an ex Whirlpool and current Indesit engineer. My son in law has a Servis M2002 tumble dryer . It has a momentary start button with a circuit board ( relay ). The machine will run if the button is held in…but will stop when the button is released.Is this likely to be the start board….or is there something else down the line I should be looking at?

    Hi

    Yes it is just that. You can just replace the cap. on that pcb which is usually all that has gone. 🙂

    Turned out to be the 6.2 K resistor open circuit….easy fix and saved £30 +
