    Hi, I have a Hotpoint WDD960 Washer dryer…Yes I know I shouldn’t have bought it…lol, but it has stopped drying!,
    I get no error messages up, it goes throught he cycle no probs, but doesn’t dry at all… i’ve cleaned out the fluff filter at the back, bottom right, but it still doesn’t dry.

    Is there anything else I can try to fix this problem.

    The dryer heating element needs testing with suitable equipment, after you have removed the mains plug of course.

    Element failure quite common.

    Thanks, I will do this, as soon as I know where the heating element is.

    It’s located under the big rectangular aluminium part you see at top right (with top removed)..
    Held on by bolts around the edge,make careful note off all wiring before removal, better still take a photo with your phone….

    Can possibly be tested without removal,but I have had false readings this way,and as its more than likely failed…better off removing..
