    I’m in the market for a new washing machine and have been looking at the Bosch WAQ28461GB which is about £410 and comes with a 2 year warranty and the Siemens WM14Q390GB which is about £495 and comes with a 5 year warranty.

    Is the £85 simply down to the warranty differences? Are there much differences between Bosch and Siemens in terms of how well manufactured the machines are? Are there any other brands that I should consider in this price bracket?

    Siemens and Bosch are basically the same machines

    OK, that’s good to know. I guess all I have to do is decide whether or not it’s worth spending the extra cash for the extended warranty.
