I have a hotpoint WM63 the water isn’t heating up on inspecting the thermostat by the heating element i found two other thermostats either side of this one with nothing connected to them, is this right, could you please advise. ❓

Have you had this machine from new, have you had any previous repairs done on it?
Sounds like it has been bodged up with much older parts???
It should not have any thermostats in it, just an ntc slotted into the heater securing plate.
Also a faulty ntc would not stop it heating , the heating element needs testing for resistance/continuity and insulation.
