    The above Candy is flashing 3 times which I believe is a drain error. The m/c drains fine so I’m wondering if this model suffers from earth leaks on the heater causing this code, like other Candy/Hvr machines ?

    Have you meggered the heater?

    No not yet but I was under the impression that they break down under load and can read fine when cold.

    Not so, earth leakage will show up irrespective of being hot or cold.
