Common fault on these is the door lock going faulty causes the machine to go dead

door lock is all ok plus everything else tests ok mains suppressor etc. when we put 240volt straight too the terminals on the transformer on the board we should at least get the lights too come on but nothing?

found this board listed in “simple pcb repairs” the two components i spotted are mentioned plus one other. so parts ordered.

Come across this problem before a few times, everytime a resistor burnt out on the board but unfortunately everytime blows again straight away once replaced. Something else on the board must cause it.

Micky – I suggest that you look in the PCB repair thread where you will find my cure to this problem.
