My tumble dryer had been working perfectly before the summer, but it will only work now for 15 to 20 seconds and then display goes blank and machine stops. No other warning lights come on and no error code is displayed. It just seems to lose power. All filters are clear, water reservoir is empty, fuse has not blown and it does not matter which programme is selected this happens on every one. With rain on its way again I need this working – does anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify this – hopefully cheaply too!!! Thank you ❓

It must be a power supply problem then. So look carefully at the wall socket and 13amp plug. If that proves negative then it’s timer to remove the lid and check the mains lead connection to the mains filter. Caution advised all the while of course, power off, safety first and all that. 😯
