45cm Integrated eh
Not such a good idea, firstly they are overpriced, unreliable and hard to get fixed should they fail (and the failure rate is high by the way) 🙁 .
Why not make space, put in a full size, then you will be OK
Don’t tell me you haven’t got space in your kitchen as any local chippy (carpenter/joiner that is) can easily make space for you. 🙂
Just my opinion by the way, based on some experience in this area 😉

Hi don
Just remember that ‘best’ and ‘cheapest’ don’t always go together! 😉
Ordering from a web company is usually the cheapest, but then what happens if the machine doesn’t work first time? (Your local independant retailer may well send someone out that day to have a look for you!)

I have to agree with them compbuild, a lot of the internet retailers get flack from the manufacturers and us as well as some of them aren’t the best to deal with.
Personally I’ve heard many a tale of woe from customers in warranty that have had hassles from buying appliances on the net. The best advice I can offer is to look for ones that do have an established business in appliance sales and sell over the net as they’re liable to hold stock etc. Many of the lowest price ones (as is the way on the net) often have no stock and loads of stuff is a special order.
They’re not all bad of course, it would be unfair to say that but manufacturers have often told me of school kids in a bedroom flogging appliances amongst other nasty tales. 🙁
In the end you’ll probably find it hard to beat the advice here thus far, go to a local independent retailer as you’ll get a fair deal and usually a very good backup service to boot.

ParticipantWell i think it has come down to a choice between £300 for a Baumatic online or £375 for a siemens locally, what do you think would be best?
