    Hi

    Got this machine with the dreaded F01 motor triac fault
    I was just wondering if anyone has ever cheanged the triac themselves?, and am i right in assuming its the one attached to tne heatsink?

    Any info appreciated

    Well I for one would call this a ‘technical question’ it is not a general trade question by any stretch of the imagination.

    That is why I moved it to the TRADE TECHNICAL ENQUIRIES forum.

    TBH before the last forum upgrade each forum had a short description of what it was intended for, but in all honesty it should be fairly obvious. 😉

    EDIT , in fact the brief descriptions are still there.

    Haven’t used forums before tbh, but thought I’d better drag myself into the 21st century. Kicking and screaming I may add. It’s a great place to give and get information though

    What are you using to access the forum via Tapatalk, it doesn’t register that you are using Tapatalk at the bottom of your posts?

    I would assume so too. Besides, it’s easy enough to put a meter on it to check.

    By the way, I’m using an iPad on this occasion Jim though I’ve removed the ‘signature’.
