whirlpool fop loader 3lsc8255eq1 tub off centre

seen this one with tub leaning forward and not central in cabinet.
the 3 support springs underneath are all ok. customer gave me a spring she found next to machine. it is about 6 inches long and looks like a centralising spring off one of the early hpt wm machines, but i cant see where it would have come from off the w/pool washer.

any ideas, also when it spins and you lift lid it stops suddenly and drum bangs
