Miele W504 heater element

    Never got involved with Miele before so what’s involved with replacing the element, doesn’t look like the traditional single nut fitting?!

    They are just held in place by the gold coloured locking washers, that you see up against the rubber seal, if you dont have replacement washers with the new element then be careful when you remove them, once you have them off its just the usual bit of brute force to remove the seal..
    Also make sure you locate the front of the element correctly inside the lower drum holding plate…

    No, as long as you get the seal located properly you shouldnt have a problem.

    Amazing that they don’t leak very much when you consider its just a push fit, every other appliance needs a right spannering to get them leak free.
