Hello folks could anyone help me the dishwasher model bosch srs43C12gb/23 slimline is not getting rid of the water so I’m thinking it’s the pump I have had a look and tried getting to the pump but can not see how you get to it it has at the bottom of the washer a few torx head screws which I undone and tried taking the bit apart but no joy 😥

Blimey…put them screws back then! Access via removing bottom kick panel. Pump lies behind that plastic panel, though very tricky for the uninitiated.:-o

Oh no is it bad I must admit it seems it but I’m bit of a tight wad and rather try and do it myself damn !

Hi I have managed to get to the pump and it as you all have said is difficult to remove how and what is the best way of doing this .? It seems to be attached to rubber that makes it harder to twist out as I’m assuming that you have to twist the bits apart or do you pull the whole thing out of black rubber I doubt ?

It’s a bayonet fitting so simply unclip the latch on the pump chamber and twist anticlockwise and pull clear. Do not interfere with the rubber grommet!

I tried my hardest to do what you said and it just would not budge so I interfered with said grommet taking it all out ,even out it was very difficult to get apart . So now have I buggered it up ? What I have also done is with a soldering iron made a hole in the base so I can get to the rubber at the back and attach easier to pump but is this all in vain ? Cheers for your help on this matter I think you lot are extremely helpfull bunch of people 🙂

The rubber grommet must be fitted separately from the pump chamber. Smear a little washing-up liquid to ease fitting. Once in place the pump can be pushed into it using the same method. As for a bloody great hole in the plastic base, well that has bu&&ered up the anti-flood protection it otherwise had..!!! 🙁

Ahhhh that’s why there is bad access to the bottom never thought of that ! Hopefully it won’t flood then ; ) many thanks martin on helping me .

Now I need another pump would a universal pump fit this or does it have to be this specific type as I’ve been looking on flea bay and there is a wide variety of them many thanks . I really don’t want to spend to much so the cheap second hand one will do .
