The problem initially appeared a couple of minutes after starting a wash cycle when the machine would stop prematurely with water in the bottom. I have investigated this and found no issues with the inlet or drain hose.
This happened a couple of times and now no wash cycles can be selected.

After a bit of reading I have taken the right side panel off and can see no obvious signs of blown components.
Now, when I turn the dishwasher on with the prog button also pressed, all the neon lights flash simultaneously, I then release and press again the prog button which I presume puts it into Engineer mode. It then cycles through all 5 of the neon wash cycle lights individually (so at least I know the lights are all working 😉 ) and starts what seems to be a short wash program.

This finishes after a minute or so with a beep and the Intense wash indicator neon remains lit with a static light.
If I start the dishwasher in normal mode it is not possible to select any wash programs.

Can anyone advise what is going on and what I need to do to fix this ?

    Thanks
