    Hi Guys.

A friend asked me to look at his dishwasher saying it tripped when switched on.

He removed the dishwasher for me and on attending,I saw the steam vent was detached.
I replaced vent and assumed water had splashed over the side and caused the fault.
On testing, the machine emptied but failed to take water.

There are no signs of shorting anywhere, there’s a circuit thru’ the water valve and supply to the valve is ok but the neutral return is live.
I’m assuming a fault within the control board but my experience of this dishwasher is virtually nil so any help would but very much appreciated.

    Regards.

    Chris.

Have you checked the anti flood switch? Turned off the water supply and disconnected the inlet/safety valve then reconnected (to vent the system)? Pressed and held in the Programme selection button for 3secs to reset the programme?

That’s all I can think of for now Chris…..HTH?
