    Hi,
No cooling in fridge or freezer. Lights on but no compressor action. Doesn’t appear to have a conventional thermostat (visible). Customer reports power cuts day or two before fault noticed. Just wondering is the electronic the problem?

Anyone have a problem with these before or what should I check on pcb?

Assuming that the compressor is OK and the light is not controlled by the PCB then the first thing I would check/replace would be the X2 class capacitor (Large grey block labelled C1 in your photo). If the capacitor is OK then I would check whether or not you can get any continuity through the large pink fusible resistor (R3 – looks like 41 Ohms but not sure).

TC2, TC3, & C3 ok also. TC1 on other side has no middle leg – looks intentional though. What are DU1 and DU2? Is VR1 a cap? (purple? thingy), 11 o clock to P1.

Not sure what DU1 and DU2 are but from this angle they might be diode pairs, VR1 looks like a Voltage Dependant Resistor (Surge Protection). Might need some better photos (different angles and other side) to be sure.
