ParticipantHello!
Recently I bought second hand washing machine Whiteline MT 1062 LED and there was some water inside, so I decide to draid the water through drainage hole on right bottom of the washing machine. However, during first washing there was an error – machine turns off after 7 minutes of trying to drain the water. It goes away but very slowly so the washing cycle can’t be completed. I want to check the filter of washing machine, however when I screw the cap off, I can’t see filter.. Any idea how can I get to the filter?

after I unscrew it, it comes off and I see this (and you can’t take it out easily, not sure if I should apply force trying to pull it out):

Oh and salesman in local repair shop recommended buying this liquid cleaner and put it in machine and set it to cleaning program. It cleans the inside and pipes as well.. Is it worth trying?October 10, 2013 at 8:01 am #402456don

Hi
Welcome to the forums. Your’e IP address and the brand of machine you have tells me you are probably in the Netherlands 😀
Can you repost the pictures as the drop bucket links are dead. The best way of doing this is to use the upload attachment button which can be found underneath the yellow “post a reply” box. Hopefully then we may be able to help 😀

That should come out with the black cap. There is something in the filter that will not allow it to be removed. You can try to GENTLY prise it out.
Failing that you will have to remove the pump.Power off first.October 10, 2013 at 5:29 pm #402459ozzolins

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Turns out that there was huge sock and coin stuck before pump, it’s surprising that any water got through it.
I’m really thankful for the advice, probably I just saved a lot of money! 😀
