hi all and thanks for looking,my brother has one of these and the fridge part wasnt cooling, upon inspection i noticed it had ice behind the cover inside,i defrosted it and took the panel off i tested i believe are called the thermal trips like on this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQnwYmEGEGI and it came up with a reading of 356 which according to the video sounds about right,,,,,apart from the ice problem it keeps tripping the electric, whil i was testing i unplugged all from the panel, then proceeded to plug stuff in one by one turning of fridge beforehand,as soon as i re attached the thermal trip plug the fridge comes on as normal then trips the electric and goes off,any ideas as the multimeter reading was ok but it turns off fridge when i plug it back in,,,

    thankyou

    Hi

Without confirming that all the parts have been tested correctly then it cannot be certain..BUT if it is tripping the electric’s then STOP as it can cause a more serious problem like demolishing your kitchen.

We have a repair kit that will cure the majority of the faults on the RSH1 defrost side and evaperator cover side. Without having all the components tested we cannot confirm that the fault is in these components.
