    washing machine door seal are the easy fitted. does the front come off or are the fitted throught door.as well as the front wire and should their be a inner band to attach to the drum

    the man removed it as it was leaking their is a cut in the front lip fasetester

    You can do it through the door, or the front will come off. There is an inner band, spring type.

    yes seamy is their much room to get the band on going throught door. i was reading some post where the new seal rubs on the door is this one of them. any tips on fitting spring thanks fasetester.

    Always fit them through the door, if your doing it for the first time, take off the front & do it like that if you wish, theres been problems with the seal rubbing off the drum lip, causing smoking, burning smell etc.

    Seal & drum don’t have enough clearance, if anything caught between drum & seal it will overheat causing smoking. If drum wobbles slightly because of large load for instance same happens causing friction burn of seal/bellow. Think theres a new seal which is not so close to drum, we’ve been fitting tub assembly & door seal u/g.
