I have replaced the heating element in a Bauknecht TRK 5970 Condenser dryer. When removing the various items I failed to note that the thermostats are different (presumably one top of heat range the other bottom of heat range). The replacements are A260 B7N1856 1 A03 (White) and A210 B7N1520 1 A03 (White with green spots).
I have fitted them with the plain white one at the top with two white covered spade connectors. The other (white with green spots) I have fitted below the heating element connections on red and black covered spade connectors.
Is this the right way round – am I in danger of overheating the element if I have these the wrong way round?
