Mother In Law’s oven is blowing cold air.
Don’t blame me that she bought an Indesit!
Took element out, obvious blown area and no continuity on testing.
I’m going to order up the element but I notice there was an earth tag on the old element but no earth wire attached.
Definitely original, only had it a couple of years.
Now I assume it’s earthed through the securing bolts and the element is common across many different ovens (some of which may require earthing?)
Can anyone reassure me?
All help appreciated.
