    Hi, we have a whirlpool generation 2000+, model G2P 90F/SS which has developed a couple of faults. Firstly, the main, lower oven keeps turning itself off then back on again. The problem with this is it sets the temp to its default of 160’c every time. The second fault is on the top, small oven. This does not seem to be getting up to temp. It gets warm, but never hot. Is it time for a new oven?

    Sounds like it’s overheating and cutting out on the safety thermostat.

    The top oven is likely one of the elements faulty.
