Whirlpool S20D RBB32-A/G Service code 858615815001

We need help to our Whirlpool S20D RBB32-A/G Service code 858615815001. We tried the Vacation function then after 3 days the branch circuit breaker trips off. We found out that the cause of it is the Whirlpool S20D RBB32-A/G. We tried to check the components of Whirlpool S20D RBB32-A/G and we found out that the cause is the defrost heater (the impedance reading is more than 50 ohms). We just disconnect it then no more circuit breaker trips.

If we are going to disconnect the defrost heater is it possible for the compressor to run?

After disconnecting the defrost heater, we tried to set it to ice mode function and we noticed that the compressor is not working. The condensing fan is working.

Maybe the power board is bad?

The issue is more on grounded components of Whirlpool S20D RBB32-A/G which causes the branch circuit breaker to trip but we didn’t notice that the heater is grounded. (Maybe it is shorted). But why the branch circuit breaker trips if the heater is shorted, I’m sure it is with the fuse near the terminals.
