    I have a Hotpoint Dishwasher FDL 570 and the last two washes have failed to open the detergent block holder so when I open the door after the wash has finished it is still there – any ideas on how to solve the problem?

    Remove the mains plug and test the dispenser electrically and examine all the wiring harness first.
