    I hope someone can help. I’ve replaced the nylon door seal on my washing machine but can’t seem to get the retaining clip completely back on without pulling the the seal back off the lip. I’ve tried using a couple of spoons but to no avail. Do I need a special tool? I’m also not really happy with the way the door catch sits now. It doesn’t close the way it did.

    no special tools

    its a nack thats learnt by doing lots of them

    which retaining clip is it inner or outer ?
    if inner is it a spring ?
