    The motor runs when off the washer, but very slow. When on the washer it just buzzes and no drive. Fitted new cap,still the same. Fitted a new motor, still the same. help !!!! please !!

    gearbox is free, you can turn it by hand.The motor runs slow taken off the gearbox.

    The reversing switches are inside the timer, if one is faulty it could cause the symptons you describe. If the gearbox is OK, and you have tried a new motor, there isn’t much else in these machines.

    thanks Graham.any idea about the small electronic up in the facia ?. has that anything to do with drive.

    The pcb in the facia is a Temperature Control Board. I think it is only used while filling for a warm wash. It will alternate the water valves to give a warm wash.
