WMA76 spin problems

    This is a question from our young Irish washer geek HotpointJames. He has just acquired a Hotpoint WMA76 for his collection but he tells me that when set to the full spin cycle it will only spin at max 1600 rpm for about 10 seconds, timer goes from 3 to 1 minute.

    TBH I have never encountered this type of fault on any 1600 spin Ultima WMA’s.

    He has checked all wiring contacts, checked motor brushes which have 2CM left. Running the diagnostics comes up without error.

    Has anyone come across this problem in the past?

    Don’t think so Mal, I will ask him if he has tried it with a load the next time he is in contact. 🙂
