ParticipantHi ,hope someone can help.I have a beko cda543f frost free fridge freezer that is only a couple of years old .This has worked very well apart from getting a lot of water on the floor inside of the fridge compartment ,checked for blocked pipe and it was ok.
About a month later the fridge and freezer has stopped getting cold ,the only thing that seems to be working is the light .Tried to find thermostat but I think it may be electronic one ,I have ordered a new pub board that is located on the back of the appliance and also a smaller pub that goes in the light compartment and attaches to the temp dial (not sure if this pub contains the thermostat ) .these parts will be delivered tomorrow ,but I have come home today and the freezer fan has started up and it’s cooling down again .looking for any help as its to good to throw away without having a go at it first .October 31, 2013 at 6:32 am #403676captaincaveman1

I think you’ve got it right with the main board.

I hope it is the pcb,I have thrown all the food out and I am just waiting for the parts to arrive .strange thing is got up this morning and the freezer fan is on and fridge nice and cold..can any one confirm where the thermostat is on this model ? Is it on the small pcb I am going to change or is it liked to that board via a wire and hidden away somewhere ?
Ps for any one else with similar problems trying to diagnose faults ,my fridge freezer ,has no dust or build up of lint anywhere ,pipes clear and clean,in side freezer no heavy build up of ice .will ley you all know what happens when boards are changed .November 1, 2013 at 7:25 pm #403679Lawler999

I have replaced both boards and everything is working fine .
I’m a little worried because it started to work before I replaced them ,but I changed them any way .
Time will tell if I have cured it ,what I can say is if I leave the door open so the temp rises the motor kicks in and it starts to cool so I think it’s curedNovember 1, 2013 at 7:36 pm #403680SAMURI

This model gets very few problems and if they do it is normally the main PCB.
You should be ok now as I have never been back to one after a PCB has been replaced.
