    Hotpoint WMD960p Drum not turning and no fault codes!! help!!!
    I think that it may have been overloaded, my main MCB tripped when this happened, it fills drains and counts down and appears to function normally but without the drum turning!!! there are no fault codes appearing,the Motor or PCB? possibly?

    Unlikely to be overloading, could be motor, pcb or both.

    A visual and electrical test of the motor and motor wiring plug and a visual check of the main pcb are the first things to do. if it did blown the circuit breaker then I fear you may find the pcb blown.

    Unplug and leave for at least 15 minutes before putting your hands inside, it has a 3 phase motor and the pcb packs a hell of a charge.

    Water leaks from the dryer assembly directly above the pcb are a known problem area.

    thanks for the advice, there has been some leakage of water but dismissed that as a door seal! I will have a look later and let you know how I get on!
