    Hi all

    I recently got a shirt sleeve stuck in the door of my machine and it’s totally ruined the door seal, it now leaks all over the place.

    Can anyone tell me if this is a relatively easy thing to replace or if I should just get someone in to do it? I’m not the most useful of people with my hands 😀

    Hi Matt

    There’s a couple of different versions to this model, depending on what type of drum is fitted.

    If its the older style drum its very hard to change the seal! best to call out an engineer, it’ll save you a lot of time and you wont have sore fingers 😆

    Check out repairs@ for a local engineer

    Thanks for the advice Clyde, I’ll get someone to sort it out for me.

    Any ideas what I should expect to pay?

    Four different versions of the machine, 3 different door gaskets priced from c.£15 – £27 + VAT. Your repairer will certainly bill you for an hours work – check that out with him when you make the appointment
