SMEG DWI710E1 error code?

    I was actually repairing the washing machine and as often happens the customer said “have you a minute to look at my dishwasher”. As it happened a minute or two was all I could spare.

    Built in and won’t be coming out until they have the laminate floor lifted.

    Says it hasn’t been used for months and was left in the house by the previous owners.

    Switched on and the 4th light was on solid and the 5th light flashing. holding the programme button down had no effect. I cannot see this in the Smeg error codes, anyone know what it means?

    I think thats the diverter valve.

    She did mention that she thought it had leaked underneath but I would have thought the anti flood would have prevented that?

    Looking at those error codes E8 (which is missing from the error codes guide) is 4 flashing and 5 steady, this is the other way round, 4 steady and 5 flashing. ❓
