    I know the modules on these suffer from no heat faults but do they also go dead and not select a programme ?
    I’ve got power into the module but nothing is happening, on/off and door switch are ok.

    Try changing the large X2 class capacitor on the board.

    5 minutes with a soldering iron and that would be mainly taken up by the iron warming up – just make sure that you use the right value capacitor.

    I’m off to the Highlands in the morning so I’ll have to deal with it when I get back.
