Hoping someone can help. My oven stopped heating up some months ago and we removed the element which was completely corroded. However, we only just got round to fitting the new element, and now after switching it back on we have no power to it at all. I am thinking it could be an issue with a fuse of some sort, however it is a built-in oven and I have limited technical knowledge. I should mention that I have already checked the breakers and none have tripped. Please help.

Yes a fuse, a fused terminal contact, a faulty cooker wall switch, a faulty cooker timer etc could be the reason. With limited electrical knowledge I would suggest contacting a local independent repairer the best option.
