Help! I have a Zanussi Oven, ZOB890X, and it has stopped working. Power is getting to the clock/timer, but everything else (heat, fan, light) is dead.
When you press the clock/timer reset buttons, the clock digit dots flash 5 times, then remain on. Is this a code to what is wrong?
    Any help appreciated.

Clock needs to be set in MANUAL position for oven (fan or light)to work, read the instruction manual for instructions on how to set it.

The clock is set to manual. It is not a new oven, I’ve had it for several years and know about the manual setting to get the oven to work.

Can you see the saucepan/cookpot symbol in the display which should indicate its in manual position?

    Manual use
By pressing simultaneously 2 and 3 buttons (the automatic
symbol will be erased), the saucepan symbol lights up.
This deletes any previously set programme.

The clock is set to manual, the cooking pot symbol is on.

When I press the 2 and 3 buttons the dot between the clock digit flashes 5 times, then remain on. I assume this a code to what is wrong?

    Hi there

The clock will not show a fault code
It may be faulty but it is also obsolete so the only remedy would be to have it bypassed
However the selector switch could be faulty and could give the same symptoms.give it a good look over for signs of burning.
