I have replaced my seperate grill element in my built in new world oven model 208587110, it was easy. Now 3 weeks later the grill feels like its overheating as the knobs on the front of the cooker are red hot.It used to make a slight noise but now on replacing the grill it has no noise? could this be a cooling fan not working?

Yes it could be a cooling fan or the thermostat that initialises it.

Thanks for replying and i like the Charles Darwin quote.
When i removed the oven from its housing there was a single brown wire hanging down, i left it as i found it. Do you think this may be effecting it as it may have worked lose?

    Thanks Fezzy
