Guys, (and girls) whats a good efficient (and where) condenser dryer under two hundred quid. I think there all a rip off when vented are a LOT cheaper.
    Live near guildford. UK.
Also why isnt anyone supplying a proper add on condensing unit for the old vented types. Just a crude little heat-exchanger after all. I’ve a lovely simple little philips one I’m going to have to throw away.

    Re: cheap-ish dryer

Cheap is cheap, no way of avoiding that. So, if you want a cheap dryer to work for any length of time beyond the statutory guarantee period the choice is endless. The High Street stores are full of them, take your pick!

Cheap -ish? Hotpoint or Creda may well fit the bill. fairly reliable, efficient and likely to give many years good service!

Decent, one that will last for donkeys years, then , Bosch, Siemens or Miele.

Condenser dryers have 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} more electro-mechanical content within, but usually they are not 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} more expensive than conventional vented dryers. Can be used almost anywhere, need more user attention to operate, but overall are 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} better for it.

Ya pays ya money and all that 😀
