Hi guys, got one of these in the workshop had blown tracks on the power board from the commutator I believe. Have had the motor checked and is fine, have repaired the tracks on the board and put it back together.

Putting it on spin to test, pump runs, motor turns over briefly as it should to stir the clothes for a couple of times, but then it just stops and sits there – anything else I should check on the board, assuming the motor is good.

    cheers

The PCB I think is detecting an unbalanced load (fuzzy logic circuit) no doubt in spite of no load being in there. So I reckon the PCB is duff as a blown track on it has most likely corrupted the EEPROM.

Hi Martin thanks for the reply. Do you mean on the power board or the control module – assuming you mean the power board.

    cheers

Yes I refer of course to what you refer to as the “power board” rather than the programme selector module. 😀
