Hi, I have a Hoover washing machine eco technology dynamic 8+ 1400RPM, series code: DYN 8144D. It washes fine but gets stuck on the spin cycle at the last 1 minute mark. It just sticks on 1 minute and I have to turn the knob to ‘off’ to get it to stop spinning. Its just 2 years old and I off course, didn’t take the extra insurance out! so hoping to be able to fix it myself. Any ideas/help would be great please.

Does this happen on one just programme selection or by using different programmes?

On all programmes, even on just ‘spin’. The last 1 minute just never seems to end!

Time then to check out all the components (motor, heater, pump, sump etc etc) especially checking electrically with the all important insulation tester. Not got one huh? But then I’m in the trade and that’s what we do when you call out a local independent repairer. An option you may consider. 😉
