ParticipantHi There,
This has happened a couple of times and it started working again but its happened again now and has stopped working so i thought i would join on here and try and resolve the issue for good…when i load up my washer to do a wash/cycle on number 5 wash or any number for that matter all I’m getting is a little sound then the water doesn’t seem to be pushing through to start the cycle.
how do i find out what is going wrong and how do i find out which error code it is if indeed there is one I’m guessing there will be one but I’m just not sure what to do to find out what the problem is.
would someone be so kind as to assist me to try and get this issue resolved please any help will be much appreciate as I’m without the ability to wash my clothes.
Much appreciated

If it’s not taking water then check the filter on the valve first, then the water valve itself.

Hi there
Thanks for getting back to me…..
It started working again mate but it’s happened again just now.
I’m baffled how do I check them?
Iv took the filter out and it seems to be clear.
It’s done this about 5 times now just stops working properly and making a dull noise when I attempt to start it on a wash.
Then I leave it a few days and it out of the blue might start working but the stops the next time I attempt it :-/December 2, 2013 at 6:46 pm #404696Martin

As my colleague mentioned earlier and from what you say it does indeed sound like the water inlet valve us playing up. HERE is the replacement you will need. 😀

I’d reckon its a pump thats needed, it won’t fill till it empties.

Looking at the sequence chart of this oldie it fills first. Not like the later ones that pump first.
