Hi all,
Appreciate any advice given. Have a hoover HNL 662, been working fine then all of a sudden last night a burning smell. After the cycle had finished shortly after we opened the door, took the clothes out and inside there was a single piece of rubber.
Very strange, checked around door to drum and seal *feels* intact. Tried another load worked ok. No smell. Today tried to do a half load and the machine fills but will not spin. You can hear the motor attempt to start but all that happens is a 1 second whir and then nothing.
The date code on the door is 0838 if that helps.

Part of the grey door seal was it though? Machine drum overloaded with washing perhaps?

Time to check the motor…..power unplugged first though. :zap:
